Thanks for the info,

this is very useful; at least the ALSA part and radeonhd driver part are 
working for the M82. Just have to dig some more for the RS690. Does 
playback of AC3 also work good? This uses 48000kHz and 8 bits per sample 
while DTS is using more bits per sample (if I'm not mistaken...).
