Hello,
I'm having a problem getting the Radeon HD4670 working on Kubuntu x86_64 8.10.
I have RADEONHD: version 1.2.4, built from git branch master, commit d9c8f9ce.
The issue is that I can't get 2048x1536 resolution on my Sony GDM-F520
at any refresh rate above 73 Hz, and my Xorg.conf settings seem to be
ignored.
The xserver seems to entirely ignore my xorg.conf settings, as I put
in a 2048x1500 non-standard mode-line, but it doesn't show up in my
Xorg.0.log file. However, I can use xrandr to set the resolution at
2048x1536, but not at a refresh rate of > 73 Hz.
A full description of the problem is on the Ubuntu forums here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=6952321#post6952321
If you need more information, please ask and I'll try to provide it. Thanks.
Sincerely,
David J. Heinrich
