Could you please enter that in the wiki? You apparently know what this
is supposed to do ;-)

No, I am no expert. I just read the documentation! 'man setpci' lists the
commands, and in typical Linux fashion is badly written, incomplete and
gives you the complete run around, in this case by referencing
/usr/include/linux/pci.h which includes <linux/pci_regs.h> which contains:

In the typical sense you are an expert, because you apparently know much more
about this topic than the average user (or even developer) :-)

Don't think that the rest of the wiki is only written be true experts -
that's why it's a wiki, anybody who thinks he knows something better can
change it.

I also have concerns about the suggestion on the wiki to:
# setpci -s <pci_bus_id> COMMAND=2
The COMMAND field appears to be a bit field, and by setting it to 2 turns off certain features. I think the two should be ORed into the existing value of COMMAND.

I'll have a look at the wiki with a view to updating it. Actually, I've never edited a wiki before, so hopefully I don't screw it up :-/

Michael.
