I also have concerns about the suggestion on the wiki to:
# setpci -s <pci_bus_id> COMMAND=2
The COMMAND field appears to be a bit field, and by setting it to 2  
turns off certain features.  I think the two should be ORed into the  
existing value of COMMAND.

I'll have a look at the wiki with a view to updating it.  Actually,  
I've never edited a wiki before, so hopefully I don't screw it up :-/
