xorg.conf für multi-seat
First of all, please note that this only about the driver issue, this bug is
NOT about any configuration (xorg.conf, gdm, etc) problem!
Regarding the xorg.conf layout:
I'm trying to setup a multi-desktop (two distinct screens, each owning a
keyboard and a mouse) for two people, not a regular single-user
multi-monitor (dual-head) system.
I've successfully done this before with Matrox (e.g. two Matrox QID for an
8-seat system) and even Nvidia cards, so this is IMHO an ATI driver issue.
Also interesting:
If the second ServerLayout in xorg.conf is commented out, leaving only
the 02:00.0 BusID-bound HD2400, the driver still tries to access the
01:05.0 X1200 card (and fails).
