Hi,
2009/2/15
I tried building the r6xx-r7xx-support branch of radeonhd driver from git (with dri2parse and mesa/drm as well), running Ubuntu Jaunty on a Dell Studio 17 laptop with an integrated 3650HD card.
...
Now, things *are* running, with performance just below what I got from the xf86-video-ati driver that Jaunty selects by default (it looks like a prerelease build of 1.6.0). However, video scaling performance is not very good...

Your xorg.conf is in order, but Xorg.0.log is showing /dev/dri/card0 does not exist. radeon and drm kernel modules from the r6xx-r7xx-support branch of drm is also required for the same branch of radeonhd to be useful.
