You need "Option "DRI" "on" " in "Device section" and

Section "DRI"
Group "video"
Mode 0660
EndSection

2009/2/11, felix-ati@xxxxxxx <felix-ati@xxxxxxx>:
Hi,

I just checked out the radeonhd and drm r6xx-r7xx branches, but I still
don't get acceleration, and most importantly, still no Xv.

(II) RADEONHD: version 1.2.4, built from git branch r6xx-r7xx, commit
d76e949a

The X log does not give me any errors, and the following warnings:

(WW) RADEONHD(0): rhdAtomAllocateFbScratch: FW FB scratch area not located
at the end of VRAM. Scratch End: 0x84fec VRAM End: 0x10000000

(WW) RADEONHD(0): RHDCSInit: No CS for R600 and up yet.

radeonhd appears to detect the graphics card just fine:

(--) RADEONHD(0): Detected an RV770 on an unidentified card
(II) RADEONHD(0): Mapped IO @ 0xfdae0000 to 0x7f01db003000 (size 0x00010000)
(II) RADEONHD(0): PCIE Card Detected
(II) RADEONHD(0): Getting BIOS copy from legacy VBIOS location
(II) RADEONHD(0): ATOM BIOS Rom:
SubsystemVendorID: 0x1002 SubsystemID: 0x0502
IOBaseAddress: 0xae00
Filename: B3B50701.100
BIOS Bootup Message:
Wekiva RV770 B50701 Board

Here's my xorg.conf device section:

Section "Device"
Identifier "MyCard"
Driver "radeonhd"
Option "AccelMethod" "EXA"
EndSection

Is that not sufficient? What else do I need to do to get Xv support?

Thanks,

Felix
