GDM or the desktop continues to flash briefly on the screen before the screen goes black. How to reproduce: Boot computer. Start GDM or the X server. This problem also occurs with the radeon X driver using the Mythbuntu 8.10 live cd. (The Xorg.0.log from Mythbuntu is attached.)
