I wanted to help out in this project, and found helpful information in
this thread :)
I have a box with an r530 card, and tested the radeonhd driver a couple of months ago and I got it working. I know C, and could probably follow any code. I've also done some assembly before, so I'm not afraid to play with registers. I'm ready to learn any new things to get the job done.
So I'm looking for things to do for either r530 or something else. XVideo support looks interesting. Or I could probably try to fix some bugs. There is also a TV near the box with r530, so I could probably test TV Out :)
One small question, do I need a r6xx card to work on r6xx drivers?
