For whatever reason, the ramp being fed to LUTxSet() was of the form
0xXX00. This is then shifted left by 2 bits then ORed together,
resulting in the blue portion being zeroed out entirely.

My LUT precision patch seems to resolve the issue.

It certainly does. I'm now running with it and all the colors are on the spot.
For some reason, xgamma never worked, before or after the patch.
On the other hand, using `xrandr --output DVI-I_1/digital --gamma X:Y:Z` does exactly what it should.
