Have you tried a cold boot? You are using shadowfb, this should help to give
you a relatively snappy feel. The only thing that I can think of is that the
Windows driver has set up power management and clocked down the chip.
This should be gone after a power cycle at least.
Are you sure things were snappier before you installed Windows and that you
didn't change anything else?
