ok, i have seen the patch on git.
installed it.

and... it works! :)
thanks a lot!

i have only one problem left:
i have one 16:10 and one 4:3 monitor.

X, also with preferred mode, or modeline.
- if vga is connected to 16:10 (Asus) the resolution on 4:3 (Samsung) is wrong
- if vga is connected to 4:3 (Samsung) the resolution on 16:10 (Asus) is wrong

if i do a `xrandr --output (output) --auto` of the wrong resolution, it works
fine.
by now i have setup in .kde/Autostart/xrandr something like xrandr --output
***
--auto to both monitor, but this is a workaround...

how can i fix that?

do you think that i need to fill out another bug and mark this as resolved?

many thanks again.

I don't think this is a bug at all. The initial resolutions are picked by
randr. Does this also happen when you start X with twm instead of kde? Maybe
you can attach a '-logverbose 7' logfile.
I'm marking this as fixed now, you can still attache the requested information.
