Summary: KMS and DRI conflict Product: xorg Version: git Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Driver/radeonhd AssignedTo: lverhaegen@suse.de ReportedBy: hun@n-dimensional.de QAContact: xorg-team@lists.x.org
I have now (more than) 3 bug reports saying that in Fedora 10, kernel modesetting and radeonhd's DRI are mutually exclusive:

I can confirm the last, 473819 report on an FU8 box, using the just released radeonhd driver on a Diamond HD2400-Pro card. root@coyote X11]# xvinfo X-Video Extension version 2.2 screen #0 no adaptors present I'll have to reboot to test the first 2's fixes. Done. No, no fix. No DRI, and the glxinfo line is less than helpfull if you have no idea how to setup that debug statement. -- Cheers, Gene "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
