[radeonhd] Lack of backlight control using radeonhd

I use three notebooks from Sony VAIO FW11* series with "Mobilitiy
Radeon HD 3400 Series" (M82) inside.

There is quite big problem about controlling backlight level which is
especially visible in case of FW11S (double lamp). To take control
over backlight I need to use hacked DSDT.hex, fglrx and optionally
patched sony-laptop kernel module [1]. If I replace fglrx with
radeonhd controlling backlight doesn't work anymore.

I wonder if this is possible to implement this backlight control in
radeonhd? Using fglrx is very problematic for me, as quite every
switch to console means machine lock.

I made 6 full registers dumps in 6 different backlight levels using
fglrx. Then I compared these dumps and got quite nice table [2]. To
make it cleaner, I highlighted rows where every cell contains unique
value.

Could someone check this, please?
