Still no luck.
The dumps in comment #6 and #7 coincide exactly with the description of the
bug. The logs in comments #17 and #18 don't. It doesn't explain why DIG1 gets
powered down instead of DIG2.
I'm about to commit debug code upstream to track down exactly this issue.

Please start X with -logverbose 7 and perform the same steps as before and post
the log. You only have to provide the final log as it should contain everything
I need to know.
