I really don't know what's causing the issues you're experiencing.
Assuming the code was pulled correctly, everything should just work.

Just to be sure, please run `grep POWERMODE rhd_atomout.c` and double
check that you indeed have the correct randr hooks checked out.


Could it be that you have implemented this as an output property for
the AtomBIOS driven outputs only? AtomBIOS is not used per default on R5xx.

Presently output properties is currently the only way to change any
state on the fly. It hides to fact that power management is not per
output but per chip.
