bb: thanks for the test. This is actually not the fix, yet.
I'm assigning this to Luc Verhaegen as this bug is in code that he originally
wrote.
The point is: the function that I've commented out uses modes from the standard
timing section in an EDID block.
Depending on the EDID version and the flags set in EDID different stragies
should be applied to obtain a full mode line. The code in the driver only picks
a CVT mode line. However it may be necessary to use a GTF or DMT timings. I
should have GTF code sitting around which I could add.
