I saw in Xorg.0.log that your version of radeonhd driver is fdf5014c. This is
commit fdf5014c811a5c1c59e570ad146deefbbc8e74a9
Author: Egbert Eich <eich@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Date: Mon Jul 21 12:21:04 2008 +0200
which means you version is very old. I wrote such a instruction for
someone recentyl and it worked fine:

Using http://software.opensuse.org/search I found there is package
with newer version in repository:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/apersaud/openSUSE_11.0/
This should be enought for you to add this repository using YaST, then
update xorg-x11-driver-video-radeonhd (using YaST again) and after
that using
sax2 -r -m 0=radeonhd
