Running with radeonhd driver from http://ppa.launchpad.net/tormodvolden/ubuntu
intrepid main on Ubuntu intrepid with the latest version 
version: 1.2.1+git20080901.0f8fd807-0ubuntu0tormod

I'm attempting to configure a quad head machine with an r430 (using ati/radeon
driver) and an r770(radeonhd). However the problem is reproducible without
including the r430 in the config.

The BIOS seems to select the R430 as the primary card, and that's what the
console uses.
