debugging session showing the problem
Hello,
After updating post commit c850ad4 (I was at 556c13b9) VGA_1 on my T60 shows up
as:
VGA_1 disconnected 1024x768+0+0 (0x6c) normal (normal) 408mm x 255mm
in xrandr version 1.2. The monitor does show the cloned output of PANEL and I
can even select --above-of to have independent output, however I do get an
error message and I cannot change the resolution of the screen. X debug output
shows the connector as 'connected' initially:
(II) RADEONHD(0): EDID data for HP w1907
(II) RADEONHD(0): Manufacturer: HWP Model: 26a2 Serial#: 2147483648
...
(II) RADEONHD(0): Output PANEL connected
(II) RADEONHD(0): Output VGA_1 connected
(II) RADEONHD(0): Output DVI-D_1 disconnected
(II) RADEONHD(0): Output PANEL using initial mode 1024x768
(II) RADEONHD(0): Output VGA_1 using initial mode 1024x768
But then it gets confused:
(II) RADEONHD(0): rhdRROutputDpms: Output VGA_1 : Off
?
I have attached the current X debugs running at logging level 7. For more
information about my setup please see my previous bug 16473.
Best regards, Peter
