Xorg.0.log for X1650 on PPC64 failure

I have a ATI Technologies Inc Radeon X1650 Pro installed in a PPC64 machine
running Debian. The radeon xserver that comes with the distribution starts as a
blank screen so I built the server, dependencies and radeonhd (no radeon?)
driver from git. However, it fails to start at all with the message

(II) RADEONHD(0): Mapped IO @ 0xe8000000 to 0xf7f9e000 (size 0x00010000)
(II) RADEONHD(0): PCIE Card Detected
(II) RADEONHD(0): Getting BIOS copy from legacy VBIOS location
(EE) RADEONHD(0): rhdAtomGetTables: AtomROM header extends beyond BIOS image
(II) RADEONHD(0): Query for AtomBIOS Init: failed
(EE) RADEONHD(0): No Video RAM detected.
(II) RADEONHD(0): Query for AtomBIOS Teardown: failed

(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

Fatal server error:
no screens found
