Is it possible that the fact that the VESA Xorg driver doesn't work is related
to the fact that the radeonhd driver does not work? I've tested BSDanywhere and
Freesbie livecds and on BSD systems, the VESA driver (at least partly) works.

If you think that the radeonhd driver should work, maybe when the "HPD
information in the connector table" is solved, I can take time to install
Freebsd to see if the driver works on it. Maybe the problem is elsewhere
(kernel?).
