What version of the drm are you using? Your best bet right now is the
drm from git master. I'm not sure what version suse includes in their
testing packages.

This may be due to the pixel fifo setup. Switching to atombios may
help. Also try disabling unverified features:

- My /var/log/messages is full of:
kernel: [drm] wait idle failed status : 0x9401C100 0x00080100
kernel: [drm] wait for fifo failed status : 0x9401C100 0x00080100
messages. (numbers are changing sometimes to 0xD411C100 0xBD080100 )
What version of the drm are you using? Your best bet right now is the
drm from git master. I'm not sure what version suse includes in their
testing packages.
