It's strange but in my case it's a little different. The X server starts and
launch the desktop manager. I can kill it (CTRL+ALT+DEL) or switch to a text
console (CTRL+ALT+Fn).
The screen is not black but full of colored lines (sorry, I don't have a word
even in French to describe it). I'll attach a picture of it (no very good as it
was taken with a camera phone).
Note that's this is with the latest (yesterday) git source. With the 1.2.1
version (the one packaged in Debian), I I have a colorful fog of changing
colors. ;-)
I'll attach the X log too.
