This means that the dependencies in X have changed, not the ones in
radeonhd. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a good overview over
what prerequisites driver building has. And this changes from version to
version. I personally don't think this fits into the radeonhd wiki,
though, rather in some general driver building page (which should of
course be linked to the radeonhd wiki page).
