You didn't do the xrandr call (the one that gives you the right part of
the framebuffer on both clones), did you? The log doesn't indicate
anything of that.

For your information, it seems that I have exactly the same problem with
the -ati driver. And I also have this behavior with -radeonhd.

I filled this bug report this morning :
