I have 3 issues which I am bringing up in the e-mail.
The first issues is that when I 'xrandr --output PANEL --left-of DVI-D_2' xrandr complains about my virtual screen size even though I have it set properly. I know its set properly because this works fine with the xf86-video-ati driver.
Matthias?
The second issues is that the labels for the connectors could be better. I have svideo, vga and a dvi port. THe VGA port shows up as DVI-A_1, why not make it just VGA, and the DVI port shows up as DVI-D_2, why not make that just DVI.
The connector table is confused. DVI-A lacks HPD and is in reality a VGA connector. Also... HPD0 is always TRUE... quite worrying.
The last issue is that only 1 resolution gets detected per device, the xf86-video-ati driver shows many resolutions per device.
This is because only the panels native resolution is allowed now. This should get better when split screens is possible (issue 1) and when scaling is in the main tree. Luc Verhaegen.
