I have my Thinkpad T60 (ATI X1400) setup to not go to sleep when closing the
lid. It does turn off the screen when it closes (as it should). However, with
radeonhd, when I re-open the laptop lid, the screen is garbled (hard to
describe - mostly black, a few weird colors/characters - looks like a broken
command line).

I'm running a stock install of Fedora 9. Let me know if any more information
would be helpful.
