My xorg has this:

Section "Screen"
      Identifier      "Default Screen"
      Monitor         "Configured Monitor"
      Device          "Configured Video Device"
      SubSection "Display"
              Virtual         3200 2040
      EndSubSection
EndSection

The rest is default Ubuntu 8.04 config.

My current xrandr is from Ubuntu package x11-xserver-utils, version 
7.3+2. Where would i get a better version? What version should i get?
