The BIOS support of X for this Alpha model seems to be suboptimal. Now we get:

(EE) Cannot find empty range to map base to
(WW) RADEONHD(0): Read only 0 of 131072 bytes of BIOS image
(II) RADEONHD(0): Query for AtomBIOS Init: failed
(--) RADEONHD(0): VideoRAM: 262144 kByte

So we have to try to live without the BIOS. I will look at your BIOS and get
the connector table.
