It had the exactly same problem. I tried installing
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/Drivers:/Video:/radeon
hd/openSUSE_10.3/x86_64/xorg-x11-driver-video-radeonhd-1.1.0_080327_16
23f86-1.1.x86_64.rpm but got:
error: Failed dependencies:
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.7)(64bit) is needed by
xorg-x11-driver-video-radeonhd-1.1.0_080327_1623f86-1.2.x86_64
rpmlib(PayloadIsLzma) <= 4.4.2-1 is needed by
xorg-x11-driver-video-radeonhd-1.1.0_080327_1623f86-1.2.x86_64

Uh-oh.
You will need a newer rpm for that. I don't know why the rpms built for
openSUSE 10.3 also use the newer rpm. Doesn't make sense for me...

Yes, this would be rather stupid. Darix?

i downloaded the rpm from the url and did:

$ rpm -qp --requires
xorg-x11-driver-video-radeonhd-1.1.0_080327_1623f86-1.1.x86_64.rpm warning:
xorg-x11-driver-video-radeonhd-1.1.0_080327_1623f86-1.1.x86_64.rpm: Header
V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 0f2672c8 xorg-x11-server
/bin/sh
/bin/sh
rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1
rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1
libc.so.6()(64bit)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2.5)(64bit)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3)(64bit)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3.4)(64bit)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.4)(64bit)
libz.so.1()(64bit)
rpmlib(PayloadIsBzip2) <= 3.0.5-1

i am pretty sure the rpm you tried there was for factory and not for 10.3
please check your download url again.

If you look at the URL, you'll see quite explicitly that SUSE_10.3 is
part of
it. If that's not a 10.3 rpm then I don't know how to find one.
