Just guessing, but there are "reduced blanking" timings available for
LCDs -- if you were using regular timing and your display needed a
reduced blanking timing (usually indicated by an "R" in the modeline
somewhere IIRC) that might explain the blinking.

When I use the 1600x1200 LCD native resolution, my LCD (Samsung 204b)
blink If I use lower resolution it's ok.
My card is a Sapphire HD3650, and radeonhd last from git.
Is it possible to have 1600x1200 not blinking?
