Sorry, I don't know what that means!
My experience is that the Radeon 2300 HD, which my compy has (thanks
for looking it up!), needs the "radeonhd" driver rather than "radeon."
you need radeon driver version 6.8.0 at least. It's possible the pci
id is missing from the driver, but it should work if we add it.
I tried it just now just to be sure, and no dice. (I also tried
"xrandr -o left" under a normal "radeonhd"-powered GNOME session just
now, and what's odd is that it gives no error message like under
"fglrx", just... nothing happens.)

Alex: by "SW" do you mean "software?" I've tried looking for software
solutions for this issue before, but it's tough to find anything
