you need radeon driver version 6.8.0 at least.  It's possible the pci
id is missing from the driver, but it should work if we add it.

for randr 1.2 drivers it's preferable to use the the randr 1.2 API for
rotation as you can have multiple outputs, so in your case:
xrandr --output LVDS --rotate left
