Re: [radeonhd] ETA for rotation?

Sorry, I don't know what that means!
My experience is that the Radeon 2300 HD, which my compy has (thanks
for looking it up!), needs the "radeonhd" driver rather than "radeon."
I tried it just now just to be sure, and no dice. (I also tried
"xrandr -o left" under a normal "radeonhd"-powered GNOME session just
now, and what's odd is that it gives no error message like under
"fglrx", just... nothing happens.)
Alex: by "SW" do you mean "software?" I've tried looking for software
solutions for this issue before, but it's tough to find anything
up-to-date.
Thank you!

The C-140X seems to use the X2300, which has an R5xx-family 3D core, so--
HW acceleration should be possible with the current code.

radeon already supports rotation. Still SW depending on what hardware
you have.
