Xorg.conf

I've attached a LCD (max. resolution 1680x1050) screen per vga adapter to my
laptop (Thinkpad, resolution 1400x1050).

If I use RROutputOrder use the laptop panel as primary output the dpi of the
laptop get messed up and the resolution of the lcd is only 1280x1024.

With RROutputOrder (initialy)

Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 2680 x 1050, maximum 3080 x 1050

If I force to use the highest available resolution, per auto detection:

The correct resolution is used (and also dpi seams to be ok) but the output
which should be on the panel is also on the lcd display partly.
This is also visible in the above output:
Because:   PANEL connected 1400x1050+1280+0 287mm x 215mm
Should be: PANEL connected 1400x1050+1680+0 287mm x 215mm
or?

If I disable the option the correct resolution and dpi is selected correctly on
startup.
