Following on from the duplicated bug #13735, I have discovered that if I have
an external monitor attached to the vga port, the laptop panel works correctly,
correct resolution, no flickers on the laptop panel at all. I am adding the
Xorg log from this invocation so that a comparison can be made to that of
#13735 attachments.
