This was removed as RS600 is R4xx hw.
Maybe you should ask some serious questions on the ati mailinglist, and
then also mention the fact that there are tons upon tons of open bugs on
that driver atm. :)

HiThere's a rather different reason for that: -ati driver developers are
I'm not sure, but i think that this could be an RS600 instead of an
RS690, and that therefor you will need to use the -ati driver. Will
verify with ATI.

However, the -ati driver does not seem to work for me at the moment
either. It does not detect my graphics card either. I still get the
following error in the log.
(EE) No devices detected.
