It works almost fine with radeonhd driver ver 0.0.2-0.20071105 The main problem is - that the picture does not cover the whole screen on an prolite E1900WS LCD display.
THe picture is kind of squeezed, and the 10% of the display remains black.

The mode line used doesn't coincide with the one provided by the display. Have you tried commenting out your monitor section like the log file suggested? This is the message:
(WW) RADEONHD(0): A Monitor section has been specified in the config file. This might badly affect mode validation, and might make X fail. Unless this section is absolutely necessary, comment out the line Monitor "Monitor0" from the Screen section in your config file.
