I have a Radeon HD2900XT. First of all, do you still need conntest
output for this device? If so I'll try to provide something. The card
has two DVI connectors, and it was supplied with adaptors which convert
them into VGA. I will connect it up as DVI and VGA with each connector,
as specified in the README file.
I tried the current release of radeonhd (commit
e325851486903e911cfb780849a9a471e8f0b54f). I got a completely white
screen. Interestingly X still seemed to be functioning, even though I
couldn't see anything. If I used xinit and moved the cursor to the place
where the xterm should be, I could press Ctrl-D to close everything
down. The Ctrl-Alt things seem to work as well. Ctrl-Alt-Backspace
shuts the X server down, while + and - would blank the screen for a
moment, which could have been the resolution changing.
If you need any more information about the white screen problem, let me
know and I'll try to provide it.
Thanks for your work on the driver so far.
