Hi All,
As a newbie I have installed proxy-suite on a Redhat Linux 6.1 - no
problem.
I have configured the service for outbound ftp-proxy, well that was what
I needed a solution for.
I have tested the solution with a windows tool called WS_FTP PRO, and it
works fine, when you set it up to go trough a "firewall", ie. a proxy.
Now my question:
How can I use the ftp-proxy from a standard ftp client, ie. the one in
unix? I cannot see how my ftp can connect to a port 8080, and then type
in ex:
USER anonymous@xxxxxxxxxxx
Please help
Best regards
Thomas Hansen
My conf file:
[-Global-]
AllowMagicUser Yes
DestinationAddress localhost
DestinationTransferMode client
LogDestination /var/log/ftp-proxy.log
MaxClients 64
Port 8080
WelcomeMessage /usr/local/proxy-suite/etc/ftp-welcome.txt
