If not, try to mount the device using:
# mount -t udf -o rw,noatime,gid=cdrw,umask=002
That should (theorically) make the files be owned by the 'cdrw' group and allow them to write... Optionally you can use the uid to make the files owned by any user...
I have tried the gid and umask options and I still couldn't write to cdrw. Hence, I have the felling that these options do not work as you expect them to do. As I said before, changing the permissions of the mounted cd-rw made the trick for me. Thank you all for the replies! Paulo
