I have athlon system and try to install gcc-3.1.0 from rawhide as main compiler Now I return gcc-2.96 and try to compile kernel for Pentium II proccessor. UDF mounting ok, but when I try wrote something (I try few times) I got oops. I can't save and decode it becase kernel locked completely. oops I got when wrote becase oops got after sync.
