Which process is getting the segmentation fault and which process is stuck in D state? Where is the process stuck? (Run "ps -eo pid, cmd, wchan" to get that information.) Maybe the segmentation fault is caused by a kernel oops. Is there anything interesting in /var/log/messages? You can also try to set PACKET_DEBUG to 2 in include/linux/pktcdvd.h. -- Peter Osterlund - petero2@telia.com http://w1.894.telia.com/~u89404340
