Confirmed. After dropping in the cvs udf tree into the 2.4.8-ac1 tree, I
no longer get an oops.

I can not reliably reproduce the problem where files re-appear in windows,
so I don't know if the strict option helps. What's the disadvantage of
activating the strict option by the way?
