Yeah, I just saw it.  (That wasn't a thread from my OP; there seems to
be a serendipitous grub-synchronicity on this list ;-)
Oh, I see. Two people having the same problem at the same time! How
curious :-)

I think there were uninstall instructions on "LILO" time ago. Or it was
on the SuSE books, I don't remember. Basically, no such thing: just
install something else on top ;-)
