Although I can't say for certain, I don't think it's possible to do that. The desktop is completely locked up and the only thing I found to clear the desktop is to shut it down.
Well I suspect it will work. This bug worked its way through Manjaro some months ago and was eventually tracked down and fixed in a KDE upgrade or something related to sddm. I haven't had it occur on my Manjaro machine since installing lightdm, and enabling lightdm via systemd, and disabling sddm, and eventually uninstalling it. But when this lockup was happening it was possible to clear it with an ssh connection or alt-f2.
