# zypper up
Tumbleweed installations are maintained with plain 'zypper dup', note the missing 'd'. There is a conversation about this every other week.
Of course without a working zypper I'm not sure what I can do about any of this.
Boot the Tumblweed installer with the 'upgrade=1' kernel cmdline option. At some point it asks for the repositories to be used. Adjust them manually, there is a checkbox for it. In the list enable the existing repositories as needed, perhaps also adjust the priorities for certain repos in case desired packages are provided by more than one repository. There is a knob to upgrade either installed packages or do the upgrade based on patterns. Pay attention to the bootloader settings in case a non-standard setup has to be used. Good luck. Olaf
