Ah, yes, there is that. For me btrfs means repartition and reinstall. My root is spread on three disks, using different partitions for parts of the filesystem. The "/" itself is too small (30GB).
Then my strategy is to upgrade the system, from SuSE 5.2 till Leap 42.2.
I don't speak of upgrade, simply of update. When this is done after, say, two month unactive, the amount of files is large and snapshots big. This so takes large amounts of disks. It's what seems to happen - no problem anymore after removing all the snapshots (and forgiving they use). But may be this problem is solved now, how can I say? but as I never had problem with exy4, at present time I use ext4 on all my installs.
