OK, assuming you are applying the various filters to extract the items you want... I'm assuming you don't mean input as text cut and past into a "Word" document much as you might cut and paste text into a mail message, as we do quite regularly, that you mean paste it into the spreadhseet too. For that I suggest you use the JSON export option. Again, RTFM or google, it very well documented and described. https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd/json/ Of course if you see no other way, you can convert JSON to CSV and import the CSV to OO http://www.convertcsv.com/json-to-csv.htm Or, if you prefer, there's a macro to convert JSON that's been pasted into one cell. https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/libreoffice-getrest-plugin-1 It depends, entirely, on your specific needs. Some of us are familiar enough with things like Perl, for which JSON is a native format, that we'd have no problem manipulating it. IIR there's an option in OO/LO to use python as the scripting language, and a JSON importer in python is a well documented tool. Most certainly, JSON is a more robust, more portable, more application-friendly (particularly for transmission over the 'Net) format than CSV. -- A: Yes. > Q: Are you sure? >> A: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation. >>> Q: Why is top posting frowned upon? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
