According to the release notes for 42.2 https://doc.opensuse.org/release-notes/x86_64/openSUSE/Leap/42.2/, Seamonkey no longer compiles, and thus should be replaced with Tbird/Firefox. However, Seamonkey 2.40 (the latest release) is included in the repository http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/42.2/repo/oss/suse/x86_64/
So I'm curious to know the correct answer @$SUBJ, or to have someone clarify the situation. I will upgrade to 42.2 if the answer is "yes", but I really don't want/need to be running 2 Gecko engines, and the task of switching to some other browser/email client combination is so unpalatable that I really wouldn't want to do the upgrade at all.

well, according to https://build.opensuse.org/package/revisions/openSUSE:Leap:42.2/seamonkey Max Lin (maxlin_factory) accepted request 435721 27 days ago (revision 1) supposed to build again So probably release notes were not updated. I suggest opening bug report so release notes can be corrected as needed. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
