I am wondering what package would have required me to install systemd-logger? I didn't do it intentionally. I don't know if it is better or not. Now that I have limited the file size, it seems to be running more smoothly.
I suspect systemd-logger is the default unless you opt to install a syslog daemon. {rsyslog,syslog-ng}
Yes, it should. It is a good thing to keep persistent logs, and they should be either the systemd journal, as is the default now, or syslog, as was the default some time ago. 2 GB of logs is quite big. It means that there is something that talks a lot. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 13.1 x86_64 "Bottle" at Telcontar)
